The Rex Nordic REX14000 is an industrial evaporative air cooler (adiabatic cooling – lowering the temperature through water evaporation, without a compressor or refrigerant) with an airflow of up to 14,000 m³/h. The unit cools and humidifies the air, drawing power only to run the fan and the pump. With a maximum power consumption of just 510 W, the daily running cost drops below €2 per day – a fraction of the cost of traditional compressor air conditioning when cooling spaces of up to 120 m².
Range up to 120 m² and clean air with a UVC lamp
The cooler performs well in open spaces of up to 120 m² (and even up to around 175 m² in optimal conditions). The REX14000 not only lowers the temperature but also refreshes the air. The built-in UVC lamp sterilises the water circulating in the system, limiting the growth of bacteria, viruses and mould. An optimised impeller with smooth speed control of up to 1,380 rpm delivers even, quiet airflow at just 55 dB(A).
Mobile autonomy and ease of use
The unit is equipped with a 60 l water tank with a level indicator, as well as an automatic water inlet system (a garden hose can be connected permanently). The compact housing, measuring 740 × 500 × 1300 mm, rests on durable transport wheels, so at a weight of only 45 kg the cooler is easy to move between workstations. The 230 V / 50 Hz supply works from any standard socket.
Where an evaporative cooler works best
The REX14000 is designed for medium-sized, well-ventilated spaces where conventional air conditioning is uneconomical or hard to install:
