NORWIT.PL Returns and Complaints Policy
(This section applies only to Customers who qualify as Consumers within the meaning of §II point 2 of the Online Store Terms and Conditions of Norwit Sp. z o.o. https://www.norwit.pl/regulamin-sklepu-norwitpl). Business customers purchasing with a VAT invoice are not entitled to return purchased goods under applicable law.
- A Consumer who has concluded a distance or off-premises contract may withdraw from it without giving any reason and without incurring costs, except for those specified in Articles 33, 34(2), and 35 of the Consumer Rights Act of May 30, 2014 (Journal of Laws 2020.287, as amended), by submitting a relevant statement within 14 days of receiving the ordered goods. The statement may be submitted in any form and must be sent before the 14-day period expires to the following address: Norwit Sp. z o.o., ul. Inwalidzka 20, 41-103 Chorzów, or by email to: info@norwit.pl.
-
The withdrawal period begins:
- for contracts in which the Seller delivers goods – on the day the Consumer or a third party designated by the Consumer (other than the carrier) takes possession of the goods;
- for contracts involving multiple items delivered separately, in parts, or batches – on the day of taking possession of the last item, batch, or part;
- for other types of contracts – on the date the agreement was concluded.
- In case of withdrawal from a distance or off-premises contract, the contract is considered void. All items and payments must be returned unchanged. This return must occur no later than within 14 days. Goods must be returned to the following address: Norwit Sp. z o.o., ul. Inwalidzka 20, 41-506 Chorzów.
- The Consumer is liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from their use beyond what is necessary to verify their nature, features, and functionality.
- If the Consumer chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard option offered by the Seller, the Seller is not required to reimburse the additional costs incurred.
- The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the Consumer. The goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying the Seller of the withdrawal. Timely return is deemed to have occurred if the product is sent before the deadline.
- In case of withdrawal, the Seller will refund the order value within 14 days of either receiving the returned goods or receiving proof of return shipment – whichever occurs first. The refund will be made to the bank account provided by the Consumer, using the same payment method as used for the original purchase unless the Consumer agrees to another method with no extra cost.
- A sample withdrawal form is available on our website: https://www.norwit.pl/zwroty-i-reklamacje.
- The returned goods should include proof of purchase (e.g. receipt, invoice).
-
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the situations listed in Article 38 of the Consumer Rights Act of May 30, 2014 (Journal of Laws 2020.287, as amended), including:
- goods made to the Consumer’s specification or clearly personalized (e.g. custom orders);
- goods that, by their nature, become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
- sealed data carriers (e.g. software, CDs) that were opened after delivery.
- For full legal details, refer to the Consumer Rights Act of May 30, 2014 (Journal of Laws 2020.287, as amended).
