A ride-on power trowel is a machine with an operator seat that smooths and seals the surface of freshly poured concrete with two rotating rotors. The Beton Trowel BT900BCL is its battery-powered version: 2 × 900 mm troweling diameter, a 10 kW Clover electric drive and 48 V / 30 Ah LiFePO₄ batteries. It produces no exhaust fumes at the work site and needs no power cable. The set includes 10 batteries (2 sets of 5) and 5 fast 35 A chargers – one set runs in the machine while the other one charges.
10 batteries and 5 chargers – work without downtime
The modular rack holds 4 or 5 batteries; the BT900BCL runs on a set of 5 LiFePO₄ batteries, 48 V / 30 Ah (one weighs 14.4 kg). Charging with a 35 A fast charger takes 47 min, while a set runs for 60 min on average. Charging is shorter than running time, so two sets of 5 batteries are enough for non-stop troweling. The manufacturer declares over 4000 cycles of charging.
Clover 10 kW drive and 0–145 RPM control
The 10 kW Clover electric drive turns two rotors with 8 blades in total, and the speed is adjustable in the range of 0–145 RPM. This lets you move from rough troweling with a float pan to finishing with finish or combination blades – the manufacturer provides both kinds of equipment.
