Description

300 mm diamond blade for porcelain, ceramic tiles and sintered stone

Husqvarna Elite-Cut TS1 is a 300 mm diamond blade with a 25.4 mm arbor, designed for stationary tile saws. It cuts porcelain stoneware, ceramic tiles, hard glazed tiles and ultra-compact surfaces: Dekton, Neolith, Lapitec and Kerlite. The rim is continuous (the segment runs uninterrupted around the whole circumference, with no slots) and the segment height is 10 mm. Elite-Cut is the gold quality class in the Husqvarna range, intended for professional use. The part number for this diameter is 540859950.

Continuous rim means a chip-free edge

Blades with separate segments have cooling slots and cut faster, but on brittle material they tear particles out of the exit edge. A continuous rim works more slowly and across its whole surface, so the edge of porcelain and sintered stone comes out smooth, with minimal chipping. That matters for tiles laid without grout lines and for cuts that stay visible after installation, where the edge cannot be hidden under a trim.

Porcelain, sintered stone and large-format tiles

Porcelain stoneware and large-format slabs such as Dekton or Neolith are harder and more brittle than ordinary glazed tile — a standard concrete blade chips them along the edge. TS1 uses a matrix matched to exactly these materials: ceramics, porcelain, hard tiles and ultra-compact surfaces. It suits sintered stone worktops, facade tiles and large-format flooring.

Which saws it fits

The 25.4 mm arbor is the standard for stationary tile saws from Husqvarna Construction. The 300 mm blade fits the Husqvarna TS 300 E tile saw (230 V, single phase), the Husqvarna TS 350 E, the Husqvarna TS 400 F and the Husqvarna TS 100 R. Before ordering, check the maximum blade diameter allowed by the guard on your machine.

Wet cutting

TS series tile saws have a built-in water tray that cools the blade while cutting. Water removes heat from the cutting zone, flushes slurry out from under the segment and binds the dust — without it a continuous rim overheats faster than any other geometry, because it has no slots to carry heat away. Keep an eye on the water level in the tray throughout the job, especially on long cuts through large-format slabs.

Elite-Cut TS1 replaces the GS2 blade

The Elite-Cut GS2 series has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is succeeded by Elite-Cut TS1 across the same diameter range. If you are looking for a replacement for the GS2 300 mm, the blade on this page is the correct equivalent: same diameter, same 25.4 mm arbor and the same purpose in stationary tile saws.

How to choose the diameter

The TS1 series covers 180, 200, 230, 250, 300 and 350 mm, all with a 25.4 mm arbor and a 10 mm segment. Diameter determines the maximum cutting depth and must fit inside the machine guard: a blade larger than allowed simply will not go in. Match it to your saw model rather than to tile thickness. Other blades for this application are in the diamond blades for ceramic tiles category.

The blade ships from the manufacturer's warehouse in Sweden. Order online or contact us through the form to confirm the delivery date.

Questions and answers

Which blade is right for porcelain stoneware?

Porcelain stoneware is cut with a continuous-rim diamond blade running under water cooling. Porcelain is hard and brittle, so a segmented blade — the right choice for concrete — tears particles out of the exit edge. The Husqvarna Elite-Cut TS1 300 mm has a continuous rim and a 10 mm segment, with a matrix matched to ceramics, porcelain and ultra-compact materials. The 25.4 mm arbor fits stationary tile saws.

Can the Elite-Cut TS1 cut Dekton and Neolith sintered stone?

The Elite-Cut TS1 is intended for ultra-compact materials, and the manufacturer names Dekton, Neolith, Lapitec and Kerlite explicitly. These are sintered slabs harder than ordinary glazed tile, used for worktops and facades. The manufacturer describes the result as clean, accurate cuts with minimal chipping on the hardest materials. On large-format slabs, keep the water running for the full length of the cut.

What is the difference between a continuous rim and separate segments?

A continuous rim is a segment running uninterrupted around the whole circumference, with no cooling slots. A segmented blade has gaps that carry away heat and slurry, so it cuts faster — but on brittle material it tears particles out of the edge. A continuous rim works more slowly and across its whole surface, so the porcelain edge comes out smooth. That is why tiles are cut with a continuous rim and concrete with separate segments.

Which saws take a 300 mm blade with a 25.4 mm arbor?

The 25.4 mm arbor is the standard for Husqvarna stationary tile saws. The 300 mm blade fits the TS 300 E (230 V, single phase), TS 350 E, TS 400 F and TS 100 R. The condition is a guard rated for a 300 mm diameter — a blade larger than the machine was designed for will not fit under the guard. Check the maximum diameter in your saw's manual before ordering.

Does the TS1 have to be used with water?

TS series tile saws have a built-in water tray that cools the blade throughout the job. Water removes heat from the cutting zone, flushes slurry out from under the segment and binds the dust. A continuous rim has no slots to carry heat away, so it overheats faster than any other geometry — running it dry risks burning the bond and losing the segment. Watch the tray level especially on long cuts.

What replaces the Husqvarna Elite-Cut GS2 blade?

The Elite-Cut GS2 series is succeeded by the Elite-Cut TS1, across the same 180 to 350 mm diameter range. For the discontinued GS2 300 mm, the correct equivalent is the TS1 300 mm, part number 540859950: same diameter, same 25.4 mm arbor and the same purpose in stationary tile saws. The change covers the whole series, so the other GS2 diameters are replaced by their TS1 counterparts as well.

Can a tile blade be used on concrete?

A continuous-rim blade is not intended for concrete. Without cooling slots it overheats quickly in material with a high aggregate content, and the segment wears out of proportion to the cutting progress. Concrete and reinforced concrete are cut with segmented blades, typically with a 10-13 mm segment height and a different matrix. Cutting concrete with a tile blade is uneconomical and shortens its service life.

Which TS1 diameter should I choose?

The Elite-Cut TS1 series covers six diameters: 180, 200, 230, 250, 300 and 350 mm, all with a 25.4 mm arbor and a 10 mm segment height. The diameter is matched to the saw model rather than to tile thickness — what decides is the maximum size the machine guard allows. A larger diameter gives greater cutting depth, but will not fit a machine designed for a smaller blade.
