Description
Toolsa TAPWA15-20-2.2 Submersible Sewage Pump with Agitator
The Toolsa TAPWA15-20-2.2 is a three-phase submersible pump with an agitator, rated at 2.2 kW, built for heavy-duty pumping of sewage, slurry, sludge and dirty water with a high solids content. Powered by 400 V, it delivers up to 25 m³/h and a head of up to 30 m, and the 2" (50 mm) discharge port accepts a standard sludge hose. The built-in agitator stirs sediment at the inlet, keeping the suspension moving so thick media can be pumped without clogging.
Power for demanding jobs
The 2.2 kW motor at 2860 rpm gives 15 m³/h at 20 m and a maximum of 25 m³/h, with a head of up to 30 m — for tasks where single-phase models are too weak: emptying large septic tanks and slurry pits, and moving sludge over greater distances and heights.
Three-phase 400 V supply
The three-phase version (400 V, rated current 5.2 A) delivers steady, efficient operation under constant load and longer life in intensive use. It requires a three-phase connection. For a lighter 230 V model, see the single-phase Toolsa TAPWA10-10-0.75.
Agitator versus a plain pump
The agitator breaks up and lifts sediment at the inlet, so the pump draws the suspension instead of clear water above the sludge — the key advantage with slurry, sludge and sandy sewage that quickly clogs a plain submersible pump.
Specifications and build
Weight 25 kg, permissible liquid temperature ≤ +50°C, 2" (50 mm) discharge port compatible with sludge hoses. Housing and impeller are made for abrasive liquids.

Questions and answers
What is the Toolsa TAPWA15-20-2.2 pump used for?
The Toolsa TAPWA15-20-2.2 is a three-phase pump for heavy-duty transfer of sewage, slurry and sludge with a high solids content. It suits emptying large septic tanks and slurry pits and moving sludge over greater distances. It delivers up to 25 m3/h and a head of 30 m, and the agitator keeps the suspension moving.
Why is the pump three-phase and what does that give?
The three-phase version is powered by 400 V at a rated current of 5.2 A and 2.2 kW. Three-phase power provides steady, efficient operation under constant load and longer life in intensive use. It requires a three-phase connection; if you only have a 230 V socket, choose the single-phase Toolsa TAPWA10-10-0.75.
What flow and head does TAPWA15-20-2.2 deliver?
The pump delivers 15 m3/h at a head of 20 m and up to 25 m3/h maximum, with a maximum head of 30 m. The 2.2 kW motor runs at 2860 rpm. This is clearly more than single-phase models, so the pump suits larger tanks and longer transfer routes.
Why does the pump need an agitator for sewage and slurry?
The agitator breaks up and lifts sediment at the inlet, so the pump draws the suspension instead of clear water above the sludge. This is the key advantage with slurry, sludge and sandy sewage that quickly clogs a plain submersible pump. The permissible liquid temperature is up to +50 degrees C.
What hose fits the TAPWA15-20-2.2 pump?
The pump has a 2" (50 mm) discharge port compatible with sludge and fire hoses, for example a Toolsa 2" fire hose 20 m long. On longer routes, choose a hose of suitable diameter to limit the drop in flow.
Which pump to choose: TAPWA15-20-2.2 or TAPWA10-10-0.75?
The Toolsa TAPWA10-10-0.75 is single-phase (230 V, 0.75 kW, up to 18 m3/h and 15 m), while the TAPWA15-20-2.2 is three-phase (400 V, 2.2 kW, up to 25 m3/h and 30 m). Choose the 2.2 kW model for larger volumes and higher head, and the single-phase one for mobile work from a household socket.
