What is included in the IPC anti-oil accessory kit Ø50 mm?

The kit consists of five pieces: an anti-oil flexible hose 3 m long with Ø50–60 mm cuffs, a complete aluminium double wand Ø50 mm, a wet floor tool Ø50 mm, two bristle slides and a rubber brush Ø50 mm. All tools use a single Ø50 mm connection standard, so they fit together without adapters.

Which vacuum cleaners does this kit fit?

The manufacturer lists the kit as optional equipment for IPC OIL & SWARF machines: GS 3/78 OIL, GS 2/50 FM OPT OIL, GS 2/90 SUB OIL and GC 1/35 OIL. All of them have a side metal inlet of 60 mm, which the expandable 50–60 mm hose cuffs seal onto.

How does an anti-oil hose differ from a standard vacuum hose?

A standard polyurethane hose is designed for dust and occasional contact with water. Under continuous work with oil and cutting emulsion it swells, hardens and loses its cross-section, and the couplings start to leak. The anti-oil hose uses a compound resistant to petroleum-based substances, and its metal cuffs stay tight under the weight of the drawn liquid.

Can the kit pick up metal swarf together with oil?

Yes — that is its primary use. IPC OIL series vacuums are intended for suction of non-flammable liquids mixed with solids, that is emulsions with chips and swarf. When collecting oil alone you keep the rubber blades in the floor tool; when the liquid carries swarf, you swap them for the two bristle slides supplied with the kit.

Is the kit allowed for petrol or solvents?

No. IPC OIL series machines are approved for non-flammable liquids only — oily emulsions and coolants. Petrol, solvents and other flammable liquids require explosion-proof ATEX vacuum cleaners. The accessory kit itself does not change the approval of the machine it is connected to.

How long is the hose and can the reach be extended?

The hose in the kit is 3 metres long. The working reach is extended by the two aluminium wands included in the set, which add roughly another metre and allow floor work without bending down. If you need more distance from the machine, choose a longer anti-oil hose — the IPC accessory range also includes a 4 m version for the Ø38 mm connection.

Can the individual parts be bought separately?

Yes. All five pieces are available separately, which matters for wear parts — the floor tool rubbers and the hose itself wear out fastest. The complete kit pays off when arming a machine for the first time, or when a vacuum is moved between workstations and needs a second, dedicated set of tools.

How does this kit differ from the Ø38 mm version?

The Ø50 mm version with a 3 m hose is intended for machines with a Ø60 mm inlet and for liquids carrying more solids — the wider cross-section clogs with swarf less often. The Ø38 mm variant with a 4 m hose serves smaller vacuums and more precise work, but blocks more easily with dense material.
