Description

Tyrolit VPM600UC cyclone pre-separator – longer vacuum filter life

Tyrolit VPM600UC is a cyclone pre-separator – a module fitted between the tool and the industrial vacuum that captures dust before it reaches the filter. Thanks to cyclone technology it pre-separates up to 90% of the extracted material at a recommended airflow of up to 600 m³/h with minimal loss of suction. It works both dry and wet, and the 50 mm hose connection fits typical construction vacuums.

How cyclone separation works

Inside the cyclone chamber the dust-laden air is set into a vortex: heavier particles drop into the bag while only pre-cleaned air reaches the vacuum. This cyclone dust collector captures up to 90% of the material filter-free, so the vacuum filter does not clog within minutes as it would without a pre-separator. The cyclone runs dry and wet, and the Longopac bag system lets you empty the container dust-free.

Longer filter life and lower costs

Because the dust separator stops most of the dust, the vacuum filter lasts far longer between changes and the machine keeps full suction throughout the day. That means real savings on filters and downtime on site – especially in concrete grinding, cutting and drilling, where dust levels are highest.

Compatible vacuums

The manufacturer recommends the VPM600UC especially for the Tyrolit VCE2400D and VCE3600D vacuums. The universal 50 mm connection means it also works with other industrial extractors – including the Tyrolit VCE2500D and the rest of the industrial vacuum cleaners range.

Mobile and site-tough

The separator weighs just 30 kg and measures 570 × 480 × 1430 mm, while the sturdy frame on 10-inch non-marking wheels lets you move it around site without leaving marks on the floor. The build is designed for heavy daily use in workshop and construction conditions.

Questions and answers

What is a pre-separator and what is it for?

A pre-separator is a cyclone module fitted between the tool and the industrial vacuum. The VPM600UC captures up to 90% of the extracted dust before it reaches the filter, at a recommended airflow of up to 600 m³/h. This makes the vacuum filter last much longer and keeps full suction. It works dry and wet, and the hose connection is 50 mm.

Which vacuums does the Tyrolit VPM600UC fit?

The manufacturer recommends the VPM600UC especially for the Tyrolit VCE2400D and VCE3600D vacuums. The universal 50 mm connection also lets it work with other industrial extractors, including the Tyrolit VCE2500D.

How much dust does the cyclone separator capture?

The VPM600UC pre-separates up to 90% of the extracted material filter-free. Heavier particles drop into the Longopac bag while only pre-cleaned air reaches the vacuum. This greatly extends filter life and cuts the number of filter changes.

Can the VPM600UC be used wet?

The VPM600UC works both dry and wet. The same unit handles dry dust from concrete grinding and cutting as well as wet debris, with no change of parts. The separator weighs 30 kg and measures 570 × 480 × 1430 mm.

How is a cyclone separator different from working without one?

Without a separator all the dust goes straight to the vacuum filter, which clogs within minutes and loses suction. A cyclone separator stops up to 90% of the dust earlier, so the filter lasts longer and suction stays strong all day. That means lower filter costs and less downtime.

What are the dimensions and weight of the VPM600UC?

The VPM600UC measures 570 × 480 × 1430 mm and weighs 30 kg. It rolls on 10-inch non-marking wheels, so it is easy to move around site without leaving marks on the floor.
