The Nivel System CL4D-G construction laser is an electronic, self-levelling 4×360° cross-line laser — two horizontal and two vertical planes give a line at the floor, under the ceiling and full vertical layout. An electronic compensator delivers fast, stable levelling to ±1 mm/10 m. The green 515 nm beam is up to four times more visible to the eye than a red one. This extended kit includes the CL4D-G laser, an aluminium SJJ-M1-EX tripod, the digital Nivel System CLS-300 detector (range up to 70 m) and an aluminium LS-24 levelling staff (2.4 m) for transferring height differences.
Electronic compensator and ±1 mm/10 m accuracy
The electronic levelling system sets the tool as soon as it is switched on, to an accuracy of ±1 mm/10 m within a ±4° self-levelling range. The compensator can be locked to lay out on a slope without flickering lines.
Four 360° planes — top, bottom and verticals
Two horizontal lines (at the floor and under the ceiling) and two vertical 360° lines let you transfer a level and set plumb at once. It is a tool for drywall framing, suspended ceilings, joinery fitting, tiling and larger areas.
30 m range, and up to 70 m with the CLS-300
The lines are visible to the naked eye up to 30 m. The included digital CLS-300 detector picks up the beam even when it is invisible in sunlight and extends the range to 70 m, so the laser also performs on open sites and large builds.
Li-ion batteries and Bluetooth control
Power comes from Li-ion 7.4 V (2600 mAh) batteries with a charger included. The IP54 rating protects against dust and moisture from -10°C to +50°C, the body weighs just 0.9 kg (125×75×140 mm), and Bluetooth lets you control functions from a smartphone.
Extended kit with the LS-24 staff
Besides the CL4D-G laser, the SJJ-M1-EX tripod and the CLS-300 DIGITAL detector you also get an aluminium LS-24 levelling staff (2.4 m). With the detector mounted on the staff you can read and transfer height differences over long distances.
What the levelling staff is for
The LS-24 staff with a millimetre scale and detector bracket lets you level floors, excavations, terraces and grades on site — you measure the height difference where the laser line itself is no longer visible. It is a complete measuring station for outdoor work.

What beam does the CL4D-G have and how do the colours differ?
The CL4D-G projects a green beam (515 nm), up to four times brighter to the eye than red — best for bright interiors. For comparison: green 515 nm is the brightest to the eye, red 635 nm the most economical, and violet 450 nm gives the highest contrast on bright surfaces. For better line visibility add the GL-G laser glasses.
What is the CLS-300 detector for and how much does it extend the range?
The CLS-300 DIGITAL detector picks up the beam when it is invisible to the eye and extends the working range from 30 to 70 m, so the same laser works indoors and on open sites, even in full sun.
Can the CL4D-G be used outdoors?
Yes. The IP54 rating protects it against dust and splashes, and the included CLS-300 detector reads the line in sunlight up to 70 m, where it is no longer visible to the eye. The operating temperature is -10°C to +50°C.
