Description
Toolsa TA-D215 diesel heater — 63 kW for the largest halls and construction sites
The Toolsa TA-D215 is the more powerful version of the classic direct-fired heater — 63 kW of output with no flue means that all the energy goes straight into the heated space. It comes into its own where the smaller TA-D175 is no longer enough: in large production halls, hangars and on open construction sites with a volume of up to 1260 m³, where fast warm-up and endurance over long shifts matter.
Power for the largest spaces
63 kW of direct-fired heat is a level that copes with the largest facilities — high-bay warehouses, hangars, production halls and construction sites during winter shifts. With no flue, all the output goes into the surroundings, so you will warm up a space of up to 1260 m³ faster than with any smaller heater. A consumption of 5.8 l/h may seem like quite an appetite, but relative to the result — and with the 50-litre tank — you still get over 8 hours of uninterrupted operation. Continuous spark ignition ensures the TA-D215 fires up even in January, after a night in an unheated container.
More power, the same mobility
Interestingly, despite its much higher output, the TA-D215 has the same dimensions as the smaller TA-D175 — 106 × 54 × 57.5 cm — and weighs only 22.8 kg. This means that upgrading to the more powerful model does not limit your mobility: one person can still move the heater between workstations, and it fits easily into a van. The thermostat holds the set temperature without your attention, and connecting it to a standard 230 V socket (or a generator on site) takes care of the power supply. A more powerful heater, the same ease of use.

Questions and answers
How much fuel does the Toolsa TA-D215 diesel heater use?
The Toolsa TA-D215 diesel heater consumes 5.8 l of diesel fuel per hour at a heat output of 63 kW. The smaller Toolsa TA-D175 diesel heater rated at 51 kW uses 4.8 l/h, i.e. 1 l/h less. The higher consumption of the TA-D215 translates into a recommended volume of up to 1260 m³, compared with 1020 m³ for the TA-D175. Thermostat control helps reduce consumption, as the heater holds the set temperature without the burner running continuously.
How many hours does the TA-D215 fuel tank last?
The fuel tank of the Toolsa TA-D215 holds 50 l, which at a consumption of 5.8 l/h gives around 8 hours of continuous operation on a single fill. This is calculated from the tank capacity and the rated fuel consumption. The actual time depends on the set temperature, as the thermostat regulates the unit by itself. For long winter shifts on a construction site, it is therefore worth planning a refill during the day.
Can the TA-D215 heater be used in an enclosed room?
The Toolsa TA-D215 is a direct-fired diesel heater without a flue: combustion gases enter the heated space together with the heat. It is therefore intended for open or well-ventilated spaces such as construction sites, hangars and large production halls, with a volume of up to 1260 m³ at 63 kW. It is not a unit for enclosed, unventilated rooms where people are present. For those, a flued heater is the right choice.
What is the difference between a heater without a flue and a flued heater?
A heater without a flue (direct-fired) such as the TA-D215 releases all the combustion heat together with the combustion gases into the surroundings, so it warms up a space very quickly but requires good ventilation. A flued (indirect) heater, e.g. the Toolsa TA-DV50 indirect diesel heater rated at 50 kW, separates the combustion gases with a heat exchanger and leads them outside through a flue. The TA-D215 covers up to 1260 m³ in a ventilated space, while the TA-DV50 heats up to 800 m³ with clean air in an enclosed room.
What fuel and power supply does the TA-D215 heater need?
The Toolsa TA-D215 heater runs on diesel fuel and needs a 230 V / 50 Hz power supply, so you can plug it into a standard socket or a generator on a construction site. Continuous spark ignition makes starting easy even after a night in an unheated container, and the thermostat holds the set temperature without operator involvement. Despite its 63 kW output, it has the same dimensions as the TA-D175, 106 × 54 × 57.5 cm, and weighs 22.8 kg.
