Enar GEEL 3 generator: 2.8 kW, 230 V, 49 kg
The Enar GEEL 3 is a single-phase generator (an engine-driven unit that produces 230 V alternating current) with an Enar G210FA petrol engine rated 4.4 kW. It delivers 2.8 kW rated and 3.0 kW maximum power, weighs 49 kg and is the generator recommended by the manufacturer for the Enar Stella lighting tower.
Electrical specification
Rated voltage is 230 V and 125/250 V, rated current 7.0 A, frequency 50/60 Hz and power factor cos φ equal to 1. The alternator is synchronous, brushed and self-excited. The generator also has a 12 V DC / 8.3 A output for charging batteries.
Engine and start
The Enar G210FA is a petrol engine rated 4.4 kW at 3,600 rpm with manual start. The generator meets the Stage V emission standard and CE and ISO 8528-13 requirements. Ingress protection is IP23M.
For the Stella tower and for tools
The GEEL 3 powers the Enar Stella lighting tower, which draws 600 W, and leaves about 2.2 kW in reserve for 230 V tools. With the Stella the manufacturer quotes fuel use of up to 0.6 l/h and up to 24 hours of running. The ready-made pair is the Stella with GEEL 3 generator set.
Noise and dimensions
Guaranteed sound power level is 96 dB(A), measured 94 dB(A). The generator measures 590 × 475 × 462 mm and weighs 49 kg, so two people can carry it easily. Remember that electric motors draw several times more current at start-up than when running.
