Enar Stella tower with GEEL 3 generator: a grid-independent set
This set combines the Enar Stella LED lighting tower with the Enar GEEL 3 petrol generator, a mobile lighting tower that needs no electrical connection. The tower with four 150 W floodlights (600 W) and a 5 m mast lights up to 3,800 m² at an average of 10 lx, while the generator with 2.8 kW continuous output powers it and leaves reserve capacity for 230 V tools. The manufacturer quotes up to 24 hours of continuous running at fuel use of up to 0.6 l/h.

The set includes the Enar Stella LED lighting tower (123 kg, four 150 W LED floodlights, 5 m telescopic mast with a manual winch) and the Enar GEEL 3 generator (49 kg, 2.8 kW, 230 V, 4.4 kW petrol engine). Total weight is 172 kg. Fuel is bought separately.
Ready to run, no mains connection
The Stella draws 600 W and the GEEL 3 delivers 2.8 kW rated power (3.0 kW maximum). The reserve of about 2.2 kW is enough for a small tool or extra lighting, but remember that electric motors draw several times more current at start-up.
Up to 24 hours of running per the manufacturer
Enar quotes fuel use of up to 0.6 l/h for the GEEL 3 powering the Stella and lighting for 24 hours without a break. Extra loads raise consumption and shorten that time. The generator has a manual start and a 12 V DC / 8.3 A output.
Generator noise: 96 dB(A)
The guaranteed sound power level of the GEEL 3 is 96 dB(A), measured 94 dB(A). Place the generator away from workstations and rest areas and route the cable so it does not lie across a driveway. The generator has IP23M protection, so do not stand it in a puddle.
Wind limits for the mast
According to the Enar manual the full 5 m may be used in wind below 30 km/h, only 3 m in wind of 30–50 km/h, and the mast must not be used above 50 km/h. Lower the mast after every job and when strong wind is forecast.
