EVAK 80EUS-5.20 SAK submersible sludge pump — 1.5 kW for water with sand, sludge and mud
A submersible pump is a dewatering pump that operates fully immersed in the pumped liquid. The EVAK 80EUS-5.20 SAK rated at 1.5 kW delivers up to 660 l/min (39.6 m³/h) at a head of up to 21.5 m and passes solids up to 25 × 9 mm. The „SAK" designation marks the version with a float switch that starts and stops the pump automatically as the water level changes, so it drains trenches, cellars and flooded rooms without constant supervision.
Abrasion-resistant HYTREL impeller
The semi-open impeller coated with thermoplastic HYTREL elastomer withstands contact with sand, silt and fine gravel without rapid wear. That is why the 80EUS-5.20 SAK handles heavily contaminated water, not only clean groundwater.
Float switch (SAK version)
The integrated float turns the pump on when the water rises and off when it drops. It protects the motor against dry running and lets you leave the pump in the trench overnight. The non-float version (S) requires manual control.
3-inch outlet and 660 l/min output
The 3-inch (80 mm) discharge port and output of up to 660 l/min (39.6 m³/h) quickly remove large volumes of water from construction trenches, flooded cellars, pumping stations and tanks. The maximum head is 21.5 m.
Double seal in an oil bath
Two silicon-carbide mechanical seals running in an oil bath and automatic thermal protection shield the motor (class S1, IP68) from overheating and leakage. The 20 m H07RN-F cable allows work away from the socket.
Application: dewatering and dirty water
The EVAK 80EUS-5.20 SAK dewatering pump moves water with sand, construction sludge, trench water and flooding after failures or heavy rain. With a high sand content it is worth adding the low-suction flange, which lowers the suction level to a few millimetres.
Which EUS model to choose
The 80EUS-5.20 SAK is the most powerful single-phase model in the EUS series. For smaller jobs the evak 50 eus-5.10s (750 W, 370 l/min) or the compact evak 50 eus-5.05s (400 W) is enough. Sewage with long fibres calls for a different design.

The EVAK 80EUS-5.20 SAK is a submersible dewatering pump for heavily contaminated water: sludge, water with sand, mud and trench water. Rated at 1.5 kW it delivers up to 660 l/min and suits dewatering of construction sites, flooded cellars, pumping stations and equipment rental. It is not intended for sewage with long fibres or for drinking water.
What is the difference between the SAK and S versions?
The SAK designation is the version with a float switch, while the S version has manual control. How much water does the pump move and to what height?
