The Nivel System CL3R cross-line laser is a self-levelling 3×360° line laser — it projects one horizontal plane (360°) and two vertical planes (360°) for a full reference cross around the operator. Its red 635 nm beam is the most economical and popular choice — with long runtime and good line visibility indoors. This is a complete kit: the CL3R laser, an aluminium SJJ-M1-EX tripod and the digital Nivel System CLS-300 detector, which extends the working range from 30 to 70 m and lets you work outdoors in full sun.
Three 360° planes for every job
One horizontal and two vertical 360° lines let you lay out walls, set plumb points and carry a level line around the whole room without repositioning the tool. It excels at tiling, drywall framing, suspended ceilings, kitchen and furniture fitting and installation work.
±2 mm/10 m accuracy with self-levelling
A magnetic compensator levels the beams automatically within ±3° to an accuracy of ±2 mm/10 m and warns with a sound when out of range. Lock the compensator and the laser works at any angle for sloped layout.
30 m range, and up to 70 m with the CLS-300
The lines are visible to the naked eye up to 30 m. The included digital CLS-300 detector picks up the beam even when it is invisible in sunlight and extends the range to 70 m, so one laser covers both indoor and open-site work.
Power and build for the site
A Li-ion 3.7 V (4000 mAh) battery gives long runtime on a single charge, and the IP54 rating protects against dust and splashes from -10°C to +50°C. The body weighs 890 g (148×90×133 mm), and Bluetooth control from a smartphone changes functions without walking up to the laser.

What beam does the CL3R have and how do the colours differ?
The CL3R projects a red beam (635 nm), the most economical with the longest runtime — good for interiors. For comparison: green 515 nm is the brightest to the eye, red 635 nm the most economical, and violet 450 nm gives the highest contrast on bright surfaces. For better line visibility add the GL-R laser glasses.
What is the CLS-300 detector for and how much does it extend the range?
