Questions and answers

Is the Toolsa HLS80 an equivalent of the Honda WT30X?

The Toolsa HLS80 is a size and performance equivalent of the Honda WT30X — it has the same genuine Honda GX270 engine, a 3" (80 mm) port and handles solids up to 27 mm. The HLS80 delivers 1252 l/min versus 1200 l/min in the WT30X, with a head of 26.3 m versus 25 m. The main difference is the lower purchase price with the same Honda power unit.

What engine does the Toolsa HLS80 have?

The Toolsa HLS80 is powered by a genuine Honda GX270 engine (4-stroke, petrol) — the same one Honda uses in the WT30X. It is a stronger unit than the Honda GX240 in the competing Koshin KTH-80X, with reliable starting, low fuel consumption and genuine spare-part availability.

How does the HLS80 differ from the Koshin KTH-80X?

Both the HLS80 and the Koshin KTH-80X are 3" (80 mm) sludge pumps handling solids up to 27 mm. The HLS80 has a stronger engine (Honda GX270 vs GX240) and a lower price; the KTH-80X reaches a higher flow (1340 vs 1252 l/min) and is a Koshin premium brand. The choice depends on the priority: better price and stronger engine (HLS80) or higher flow and the Koshin brand (KTH-80X).

What is the Toolsa HLS80 motor pump used for?

The Toolsa HLS80 pumps heavily contaminated water with solids up to 27 mm: dewatering excavations, drainage ditches, flooded basements and ponds. At 1252 l/min with a 3" port it quickly empties large reservoirs. For smaller jobs choose the Toolsa HLS50 (2").
