Description

Toolsa 90° ⌀114 mm flue elbow for diesel heaters

The Toolsa 90° flue elbow with a 114 mm diameter is a flue fitting that turns the exhaust path through a right angle. It fits the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50 indirect diesel heaters and forms the flue together with the ⌀110 mm flue pipe and the rain cap.

Taking the flue out through a wall or window

The elbow lets you lay out the flue to suit the room. Exhaust runs from the heater outlet, and where the route changes direction the elbow turns it 90° towards an opening in a wall, window or hall door. The heater can stand close to the area it is heating while the fumes still end up outside.

One fitting for three heaters

The elbow covers the whole Toolsa indirect range: the TA-DV20 rated at 20 kW, the TA-DV30 at 30 kW and the TA-DV50 at 50 kW. It is 114 mm in diameter with a 90° bend, so if you swap to another heater in the range, the elbow stays in the flue.

Part of a complete flue

The Toolsa heater flue is made up of the ⌀110 mm flue pipe in 1 m lengths, the 90° elbow and the rain cap, which closes the outlet and keeps out rain and snow. Each part is sold separately, so you buy as many as the flue route on site needs.

Exhaust always outside the building

An indirect heater burns diesel in a sealed chamber and blows only clean, heated air into the space – up to 800 m³ of volume with the TA-DV50. Exhaust leaves through a separate outlet, and the flue with its elbow takes it outside even when the heater stands deep inside a hall.

Questions and answers

What is a 90° flue elbow for on a diesel heater?

A 90° flue elbow turns the flue of a diesel heater through a right angle. It lets you direct exhaust from the heater outlet towards an opening in a wall, window or door and take it outside the building. The Toolsa elbow is 114 mm in diameter and fits the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50 indirect heaters rated from 20 to 50 kW.

Which heaters does the Toolsa ⌀114 mm flue elbow fit?

The Toolsa ⌀114 mm flue elbow fits three indirect diesel heaters: the TA-DV20 (20 kW, up to 320 m³), the TA-DV30 (30 kW, up to 480 m³) and the TA-DV50 (50 kW, up to 800 m³). It works with the Toolsa ⌀110 mm flue pipe and the rain cap from the same range. The direct-fired TA-D175 and TA-D215 heaters take no flue.

How do I run a diesel heater flue through a wall or window?

A diesel heater flue goes out through a wall or window using three Toolsa parts: the ⌀110 mm flue pipe in 1 m lengths, the 90° flue elbow (⌀114 mm) and the ⌀110 mm rain cap. The pipe carries exhaust from the heater outlet, the elbow turns it 90° towards the opening, and the cap closes the outlet outside. Before installing, check the flue requirements in your heater's manual.

Does the Toolsa flue elbow fit heaters from other brands?

The Toolsa ⌀114 mm flue elbow is matched to the Toolsa TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50, and compatibility is confirmed only for these three models. With another brand of heater, the exhaust outlet and flue pipe diameters must match: the elbow is 114 mm, while the Toolsa pipe and cap are 110 mm. Measure the outlet on your heater or check it in the manufacturer's manual before buying.
