Description
Toolsa ⌀110 mm flue rain cap – the end of the heater flue
The Toolsa flue rain cap with a 110 mm diameter is the terminal of an indirect diesel heater flue. It fits on the flue outlet outside the building and keeps rain and snow out. It suits the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50 heaters.
Keeping weather out of the flue
An open flue pipe collects rain and snow, which then run down the flue towards the heater. The cap covers the outlet from above while the exhaust still escapes outside. This matters most in winter, when the heater runs for the longest hours and the flue outlet is exposed to the weather the whole time.
110 mm to match the TA-DV range
The cap is 110 mm in diameter, the same as the Toolsa flue pipe, and fits every indirect heater in the range: the TA-DV20 (20 kW, up to 320 m³), the TA-DV30 (30 kW, up to 480 m³) and the TA-DV50 (50 kW, up to 800 m³).
The last part of a complete flue
The Toolsa heater flue has three parts: the ⌀110 mm flue pipe in 1 m lengths, the 90° flue elbow (⌀114 mm) that changes the direction of the exhaust run, and the rain cap fitted at the very end, outside the building.
A cap for a heater flue, not a house chimney
The Toolsa ⌀110 mm cap belongs to a portable heater flue, not to the top of a masonry chimney. It is used when heating halls, warehouses, workshops, greenhouses or building sites, where the heater stands inside and the exhaust goes out through the flue pipe.

Questions and answers
What does a flue rain cap do on a diesel heater?
A flue rain cap on a diesel heater closes the flue outlet outside the building and keeps out rain and snow. Without a cap, rainwater gets into the flue pipe and runs down towards the heater. The Toolsa cap is 110 mm in diameter, the same as the Toolsa flue pipe, and fits the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50 indirect heaters rated from 20 to 50 kW.
Which heaters does the Toolsa ⌀110 mm rain cap fit?
The Toolsa ⌀110 mm flue rain cap fits the Toolsa TA-DV20 (20 kW), TA-DV30 (30 kW) and TA-DV50 (50 kW) indirect diesel heaters. It goes on the end of the Toolsa flue pipe of the same 110 mm diameter. The direct-fired Toolsa TA-D175 (51 kW) and TA-D215 (63 kW) have no separate exhaust outlet, so they take neither a flue nor a cap.
Will the ⌀110 mm rain cap fit a house chimney?
The Toolsa ⌀110 mm rain cap is designed as the end of a portable diesel heater flue, not the top of a masonry house chimney. It works with the Toolsa flue pipe, 110 mm in diameter and 1 m long. House chimneys usually have other cross-sections and need cowls or caps matched to the flue, so check the diameter of the pipe the cap will sit on before buying.
What do I need to vent a Toolsa heater outside?
To vent a Toolsa heater outside you need the ⌀110 mm flue pipe in 1 m lengths, the 90° flue elbow (⌀114 mm) where the flue changes direction, and the ⌀110 mm rain cap at the outlet. All three parts fit the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50. Distributing the warm air is a separate job for a ⌀250 mm or ⌀300 mm flexible duct, 10 m long.
