Description
Toolsa ⌀110 mm flue pipe for diesel heaters – exhaust fumes kept outside
The Toolsa ⌀110 mm flue pipe is a 1 m section of flue that carries exhaust gases from an indirect diesel heater out of the heated space. It fits three Toolsa models: the TA-DV20 rated at 20 kW, the TA-DV30 at 30 kW and the TA-DV50 at 50 kW.
What the flue does on an indirect diesel heater
An indirect heater burns diesel in a sealed combustion chamber and blows only clean, heated air into the room. Exhaust gases leave through a separate outlet, and the flue pipe is what takes them outside the building. Without a flue connected, the fumes from that outlet stay inside the space where people are working.
One diameter for the whole TA-DV range
The pipe is 110 mm in diameter and fits every Toolsa indirect heater: the TA-DV20 using 1.9 l/h of fuel, the TA-DV30 (2.9 l/h) and the TA-DV50 (4.6 l/h). If you move up to a more powerful model in the range, the flue stays the same.
Pipe, elbow and rain cap – a complete flue
The flue pipe is one of three parts of the Toolsa heater flue. The 90° flue elbow (⌀114 mm) changes direction when the flue has to go out through a wall or window opening, and the ⌀110 mm rain cap closes the outlet outside and keeps rain and snow out.
Where a flued heater pays off
A flue is needed wherever the heater runs for many hours in a space with people or with goods that should not pick up exhaust odour: workshops, garages, warehouses, production halls and buildings under construction. TA-DV heaters cover volumes from 320 m³ (TA-DV20) to 800 m³ (TA-DV50).

Questions and answers
Which heaters does the Toolsa ⌀110 mm flue pipe fit?
The Toolsa flue pipe, 110 mm in diameter and 1 m long, fits three indirect diesel heaters: the Toolsa TA-DV20 rated at 20 kW, the TA-DV30 at 30 kW and the TA-DV50 at 50 kW. The direct-fired Toolsa TA-D175 and TA-D215 heaters take no flue, because their exhaust leaves together with the heated air. For a heater from another brand, check the exhaust outlet diameter in the manufacturer's manual.
Does an indirect diesel heater need a flue?
An indirect diesel heater needs a flue, because the flue is what keeps exhaust separate from the heated air. Diesel burns in a sealed chamber and the gases leave through a separate outlet, which the ⌀110 mm flue pipe connects to. Without a flue, the exhaust from that outlet ends up in the room. The Toolsa TA-DV20 burns 1.9 l of fuel per hour and the TA-DV50 4.6 l, so for longer running indoors a flue is essential.
What parts make up a flue for a Toolsa diesel heater?
A flue for a Toolsa diesel heater has three parts: the ⌀110 mm flue pipe in 1 m lengths, the 90° flue elbow (⌀114 mm) and the ⌀110 mm rain cap. The pipe carries exhaust from the heater outlet, the elbow turns it 90° when the flue goes out through a wall or window, and the cap closes the outlet outside and keeps out rain and snow. All three fit the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50.
How is a flue pipe different from a flexible heater duct?
A flue pipe and a flexible duct connect to two different outlets on the heater. The ⌀110 mm flue pipe takes exhaust from the combustion chamber outside the building. The flexible duct carries warm air from the air outlet up to 10 m to where the heat is needed. The TA-DV20 and TA-DV30 take a ⌀250 mm duct, while the TA-DV50 takes a ⌀300 mm duct.
