Description

Toolsa TA-DV30 indirect diesel heater with flue — 30 kW of clean heat for large halls

If you need to heat a space of up to 480 m³ and want to keep combustion gases out of it, the Toolsa TA-DV30 is built for exactly that. It runs on diesel fuel, delivers 30 kW of heat output and has a flue outlet for a separate chimney pipe — only warm, clean air stays inside the room.

Economical running on one fill-up

The 50 l tank with a fuel level gauge lets the heater run through a full shift without topping up.

Steel chimney stub on the red heater body

Flue gas outlet

The chimney stub takes a ⌀110 mm flue pipe that carries combustion gases out of the heated room.

Round hot air outlet at the front of the heater

Powerful heat output

The fan drives air around the combustion chamber and blows it out at the front, straight into the work area.

Wheels under the heater fuel tank

Easy repositioning

Wheels and a rear handle let you roll the cooled-down heater to a new spot on site.

Motor and fan

A high-power motor drives the fan, and the guard protects its blades from contact.

Safety features as standard

photocell monitors the flameoverheat protectionfuse-protected electrics

If the flame goes out, the photocell cuts the power and shuts the heater down, and the thermal cut-out stops it if it overheats.

Predictable servicing

fuel filter: twice a seasonnozzle and photocell: once a seasonspark plug: every 600 htank flush: every 200 h

The maintenance schedule from the manual lets you plan servicing before the heating season and avoid downtime in frosty weather.

Questions and answers

How much fuel does the Toolsa TA-DV30 heater use?

The Toolsa TA-DV30 oil-fired heater consumes 2.9 l of diesel fuel per hour at a heat output of 30 kW. It sits in the middle of the Toolsa range of flued heaters: the smaller Toolsa TA-DV20 heater rated at 20 kW uses 1.9 l/h, and the more powerful 50 kW TA-DV50 uses 4.6 l/h. Thermostat control reduces consumption in practice, because the heater switches itself on and off once the set temperature is reached instead of running continuously.

How many hours does the TA-DV30 fuel tank last?

The fuel tank of the Toolsa TA-DV30 holds 50 l, which at a consumption of 2.9 l/h gives around 17 hours of continuous operation on a single fill. This is calculated from the tank capacity and the rated fuel consumption. The actual time depends on the set temperature, as the thermostat switches the heater on and off by itself. In practice, one fill lasts a full working day in a hall, workshop or warehouse with a volume of up to 480 m³.

Can the TA-DV30 heater be used in an enclosed room?

The Toolsa TA-DV30 is an indirect (flued) diesel heater that directs combustion gases into a separate chimney pipe led outside, so only warm, clean air remains in the room. This makes it suitable for heating enclosed production halls, workshops and warehouses with a volume of up to 480 m³ at 30 kW, and you can stay next to the running heater all day. The condition is a correctly connected flue pipe.

What is the difference between a flued heater and a heater without a flue?

A flued (indirect) heater such as the TA-DV30 separates combustion gases from the heated air and removes them through a chimney pipe, so it is suitable for enclosed rooms. A heater without a flue (direct-fired), e.g. the Toolsa TA-D215 diesel heater rated at 63 kW, releases all its heat together with the combustion gases into the surroundings and is intended for open or well-ventilated spaces. The TA-DV30 delivers 30 kW of clean heat for a volume of 480 m³, while the TA-D215 heats up to 1260 m³ on a construction site or in a hangar.

Which duct fits the TA-DV30 heater?

The Toolsa TA-DV30 heater takes the Toolsa ⌀250 mm flexible duct, 10 m long, designed for the TA-DV20 and TA-DV30 models. The duct connects to the hot air outlet and lets you direct the stream of heat to the exact spot in a hall or workshop where it is needed most. It is a duct for distributing warm air, not for exhausting combustion gases. For the TA-DV50 heater, a 300 mm diameter duct is intended.
